one wk nvr update my blog..dats a record breaking!! had wanted to faithfully update my blog regularly, but too tired to even switch on my laptop n get connected to the net..hehe so lemme do a brief summary of wat's been happening dis week
tuesdayhad a field trip to pertapis halfway hse n christian care as part of my attachment programme.. very enriching n educational experience..the whole thing ended ard 4 plus, n we were allowed to go hm after dat..so it was cool! then at night, as usual, i had my religious class at ghufran mosque
wednesdaywent back to the office..did nthg much until after lunch..had to help out my supervisor wif the video filming of the inmates at lloyd leas work release camp(llc)..fyi, llc is smth like a prison setting, but it has a low security concept..inmates who have ard 1-2 more years left to finish their sentence will be transferred to llc where some of them will get a chance to go out to work depending on their conduct in prison..anw the whole filming thingy took quite some time.. but the inmates had gd acting skills tho
thursdaydis is the time me n hani were waiting for..we started on our individual counselling sessions.. we both did three couselling sessions..the experience? it was an eye opener n increased my self awareness..since its the first session, it wasnt much of a counselling la..more like an interview, getting to noe the inmates n building rapport with them..all three inmates with i interviewed were of different personality..the first one was pretty ok, rather quiet tho..the second one..he's wat i thot an inmate would behave..he's rather pessimistic n he did 'challenged' me in some aspects..but if he thinks he can mess ard wif me, he's so wrong..i actually did challenged him back wen i responded to his remarks..my supervisor was in the counselling rm wif me n hani to observe us..he said i handled the situation pretty well for the second inmate..the third one was also nt dat bad, he's willing to cooperate la..after lunch, we had to help put with the video pdn thingy again..n the biggest surprise was me n hani was asked to act!! gosh..lucky my role was jus a small one..they goin to use dis video to educate the inmates as part of the programme..haizz dats one minute of fame for me or even my initial step to stardom..haha
fridaywe jus stayed in the office..did the case recordings for the interview session for yest..at least there's smth to do to fill up our time..n for lunch, ms farha(my supervisor) treated us to lunch at swensen's..is dat hot or wat? i think dat's hot(saying it like paris hilton..haha) i thot we goin to eat fast food or wat..skali she ajak gi swensens ah..i had the breaded chicken as usual..hehe n we didnt noe dat our lunch comes wif a complimentary ice-cream cos wen we were abt to leave, the waitress placed the small spoon on our table..the nxt thing we knew, ice-cream was served.. farha was saying, "kalau dia org antar ice-cream, we jus bedal aje la.."haha its funny to hear her speak malay..cos i always hear her speak proper english in the office..n she jus gave me the impression dat she's very english-educated plus she doesnt look so malay-ish..but her husband, muka mcm mat abis seh..haha but it was a gd bonding session wif her la esp since she's always so bz..even wen we leaving for lunch, she said we better get out of the office now before anything important crop up.
after work, i met up wif the gurls..at last, the five of us got to meet up..me, kisha, ita, non n ain. we had dinner at the food court at century square..a very nice n cosy ambience there..had lots of fun n laughter wen we're together..really treasure moments like dis since everyone is so bz wif their work n other commitments now..i jus wish them all the best in their undertakings.
saturdaydis day was a nice n romantic day spent wif my one n only dearie..haha klah its nt really dat romantic la..jus a simple date..met up wif him ard 2 plus at clementi since i was fr sch..then we headed to cineleisure to catch madagascar..its very funny! shld catch it..but i think the movie is rather short.. it was full hse yest n there's lots of kids with their parents..kecoh the cinema!! after the movie, we headed to sakura to haf our late lunch..i was really so famished after the movie..n me, as usual la..wen im hungry, my mood tak betul sikit..haha very grumpy!! so wen we reached far east, i was already ok la since i noe dat its makan time..dearie was saying smth like "wah..dah hyper nampak..mentang2 nak gi mkn"haha..i guess he noes me so well..there's three times wen my mood suddenly changes from happy to moody..dats wen im hungry, tired n sleepy..rite dear? haha
after dat, we jln2 ard town..i bought a top also..then dah penat jln, we decided to lepak at coffeebean at taka..had my fave mocha ice blended n chicago cheesecake..yummy! after dat, we slowly walked to our usual bus stop to take bus 65..n in the bus, there's this grp of boys who were so irritating..i got pissed at them!! until i bahasa kan dia org balik..i think dearie was quite shocked ah..after those jebronis left the bus, he said "so berani ah u..tak padan kecik" but i cant help it seh..they deserve it! then he told me, nxt time, buat bodoh je..dun say anything unless they really go overboard..its kinda hard to narrate wat those boys did or say dat makes me so pissed..jus hope that i will never ever bump into them again!!
anw dearie told be a piece of gd news..he passed the entrance test to take higher nitec course.. really proud of him altho he said it was really nthg..but i told him, its a first step to everything n im glad he took the initiative to improve himself..the course will take ard three years to complete on a part time basis..so make full use of this opportunity k dear..all the best in ur future undertakings n i hope u noe dat i will always give u my encouragement n support n pray for ur success..insya'allah
sundaya time to slack at home..need to read up some things for the seminar session dis tues..haiz n also need to do my laundry..
i guess dis entry is long enuff to make up for the days which i didnt update huh? hehe happy reading peeps!!
